Summer is a wedding and portrait photographer currently based in Charlotte, NC. She remembers her first interaction with photography being with her first polaroid camera, and from there a love affair began with Summer creating work that focused on documenting intentional, romantic stories.
Summer believes that it is her job to help craft photos, and preserve legacies and feelings - essentially freeze a moment in time. Understanding the power that an image has to hold not only a fleeting moment, but a legacy, each story that Summer documents is curated perfectly to show the imperfect, the emotions of the day, and she effortlessly weaves a story that will be remembered by generations to come.
When she isn't documenting a wedding or portrait experience, Summer is a mother to her incredible daughter Layla Brooke.
